U četvrtak, 29. jula u 19 sati, P.E.N.
Centra u BiH.

On Thursday, July 29 at 7 p.m., the PEN Centre of Bosnia-Herzegovina is organizing a literary evening with Adelina Tërshani at the Jazzbina Club. Adelina Tershani, a feminist activist and slam poetry performer from Kosovo will do a poetry performance and talk about her work with journalist and literary critic, Maja Abadžija.
The literary evening is organized during Adelina Tërshani’s visit to Sarajevo, as part of the writers residency program Reading Balkans: Borders vs. Frontiers. The project Reading Balkans: Borders vs. Frontiers focuses on borders and cooperation with refugee writers – at the time when old wounds from the Balkan Wars have not yet been healed, the question of our borders still not solved, new politics of fear and nationalism are built while refugees are crossing our region. By participating in this project, the PEN Centre of Bosnia-Herzegovina, together with other partners, is developing a culture of dialogue and striving for a deeper understanding of our real problems.
Join us on Thursday, July 29, at the Jazzbina Club, when Adelina Tërshani will talk to Maja Abadžija about her literary and activist work, as well as her current and future plans in the field of literature and feminist activism. The interview will be conducted in English, and a translation of the transcript of the interview will be subsequently published on PEN’s website.
