Reading Balkans Sarajevo 2020: Vladimir Arsenić

Gost rezidencijalnog progama za pisce i spisateljice “Reading Balkans 2020” u periodu mjeseca augusta je književni kritičar i prevodilac iz Srbije, Vladimir Arsenić.

Vladimir Arsenić je rođen u Beogradu 1972. godine. Opštu književnost s teorijom književnosti diplomirao u Beogradu 1997. godine, a magistrirao komparativnu književnost na Telavivskom univerzitetu 2005. godine tezom o Danilu Kišu. Redovni je saradnik internet portala versopolis.com i  booksa.hr. Tekstove objavljivao za Danas, e-novine.com, xxymagazin.com, BetonQuorumPolja, Fokalizator, Peščanik, proletter.me. Bio mentor na projektu Criticize this! Sa Srđanom Srdićem, od 2014. godine vodi Radionicu kreativnog pisanja Hila u Knjigodromu, Topolska 18, Beograd. Stalni je saradnik susreta Cum grano salis u Tuzli, festivala Literitorija u Podgorici i Festivala europske kratke priče u Zagrebu. Bio je član redakcije ulcinjskog časopisa Plima, a sada je član redakcije časopisa Fokalizator. Sa Rolandom Orčikom uredio je Antologiju mlađe srpske književnosti na mađarskom. Prevodi sa engleskog i hebrejskog, a dio njegovih tekstova dostupan je na engleskom, albanskom i slovenačkom jeziku. 2019. godine objavio knjigu izabranih tekstova o crnogorskoj književnosti “Etike pripovedanja” (Podgorica: Fokalizator). Sa prijateljima uređuje književni časopis Ulaznica koji izlazi u Zrenjaninu i već 12 godina vodi istoimeni regionalni književni konkurs. Urednik je u izdavačkoj kući Partizanska knjiga, koju je osnovao zajedno sa Srđanom Srdićem. Član je P.E.N. Centra u BiH. Podržava Tottenham Hotspur FC.

The guest of the Literary Residence Programme ‘Reading Balkans 2020’ during August is a literary critic and translator from Serbia, Vladimir Arsenić.

Vladimir Arsenić was born in Belgrade in 1972. He graduated in general literature and theory of literature in Belgrade in 1997, and received his master’s degree in comparative literature from the University of Telaviv in 2005 with a thesis on Danilo Kiš. He is a contributor to the internet portals versopolis.com and booksa.hr. Vladimir Arsenić has published texts for Danas, e-novine.com, xxymagazin.com, Beton, Quorum, Polja, Fokalizator, Peščanik, proletter.me. He mentored the project Criticize this! with Srdjan Srdić. Since 2014 he has been leading the Hila Creative Writing Workshop in Knjigodrom, Topolska 18, Belgrade. He is a contributor to the Cum grano salis literary meetings in Tuzla, the Literitorija festival in Podgorica and the European Short Story Festival in Zagreb. He was a member of the editorial board of the magazine Plima (Ulcinj, Montenegro), and is currently a member of the editorial board of the magazine Fokalizator. Together with Roland Orčik, he edited the Anthology of Younger Serbian Literature in Hungarian. He translates from English and Hebrew, and some of his texts are available in English, Albanian and Slovenian. In 2019, he published a book of selected texts on Montenegrin literature, “Ethics of Narrative” (Podgorica: Fokalizator). Together with his friends, he edits the literary magazine Ulaznica, which is published in Zrenjanin and has been running a regional literary competition of the same name for 12 years. He is the editor of the publishing house Partizanska knjiga, which he founded together with Srdjan Srdić. He is a member of P.E.N. Centre of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is a supporter of Tottenham Hotspur FC.
