Pokretanjem rezidencijalnog programa „Marko Marulić“ i razvijanjem promotivnih aktivnosti vezanih za boravak stranih autora i prevoditelja u Splitu, Udruga Kurs ima za cilj omogućiti suvremenim europskim autorima i prevoditeljima bolje upoznavanje literarnih, kulturoloških i socijalnih prilika u Hrvatskoj, a posebno u Splitu, dok se istodobno domaća publika upoznaje s odabranom europskom književnom scenom.
Uz partnere u projektu: europske mreže Traduki , Ministarstva Kulture RH , Splitsko-dalmatinske županija i Grada Splita, Udruga Kurs osigurala je stipendije za autore i prevodioce u 2017. godini i smještaj u gradu Splitu.
Pisac u gostima koristi vrijeme stipendije za svoj rad, a pored toga će imati predstavljanja i upoznavanja s kulturnim životom Splita. U periodu boravka organiziraju se čitanja i sudjelovanja na tribinama u gradskoj knjižnici, školama i literarnim radionicama. Stipendist ima obvezu ostaviti dnevnik zapisa tijekom boravka u gradu Splitu, te u svojem dijelu napisati da je započeto ili završeno na jednomjesečnom stipendiranom boravku Udruge KURS.
Stipendija uključuje organizirani smještaj u opremljenom stanu u centru grada u trajanju od četiri tjedna i pokrivanje troškova boravka u iznosu od 800€.
Termini boravka: siječanj, veljača, ožujak, travanj, svibanj, lipanj, srpanj, kolovoz, rujan, listopad, studeni, prosinac u 2017. godini.
Pozivaju se književnici i prevoditelji iz centralne i jugoistočne Europe, da se od 15. rujana do 15. listopada, 2016. prijave za sudjelovanje putem „Natječaja za književne stipendije“.
Prijava mora sadržavati:

- popis objavljenih djela
- kratak opis planova rada u Splitu
- pismo preporuke izdavača ili udruženja pisaca

We cordially invite writers and translators from Central and Southeast Europe to apply for the literary scholarship and participation in the residential programme “Marko Marulic” in Split. The application deadline is 15th October 2016.
With its residential programme “Marko Marulic” and the promotional activities of the international writers and translators in Split, the Association KURS connects and enables contemporary European writers and translators to familiarise themselves with the literary, cultural and social conditions in Croatia – more specifically in Split, while at the same time the local audience benefits from the impact with selected European scene.
Thanks to the help of its partners in this project, namely the Croatian Ministry of Culture, the City of Split, Split-Dalmatia County and Traduki, the Association KURS has secured scholarships together with the accommodation in Split for authors and translators in 2017.
The visiting writer would use the residence to create and work, as well as engage in local cultural events in Split. During his/her residence the author would also participate in readings, discussions and other events in the city library, schools and literary workshops.
The scholarship includes organized accommodation in the center of Split for the duration of 4 weeks, 800 Euro expenses and travel costs.
It is our pleasure to invite authors and translators from Central and Southeast Europe to submit their documentation at Application for literature scholarships from 15th September till 15th October 2016.
The Application must consist of:
- Curriculum vitae (in Croatian, English or German)
- Full address with phone numbers and e-mail
- List of published works
- A short description of proposed activities and events in Split
- A letter of recommendation from a publisher or writers’ society
