In 2008 she travels to Vienna as the winner of the literary scholarship of the Austrian KulturKontakt. Her poetry has been translated into Slovenian, Macedonian, Polish, English, Portuguese and German. She lives in Pančevo, Serbia.

According to the poet, translator and editor of the publishing house KCNS, Alen Bešić: Jasmina Topić's poetry illuminates the sentimental perception of the world in a new way, and the return to the inner, often dark and inconceivable path of self-analysis. Furthermore, she examines the boundaries of the poetic subject and his Self, experimenting with the reader's ability to perceive and comprehend the ramifications / multiple layers of poetic images. Lately, in her poetry one can decipher the experience of travel, transposed into various possibilities of self-realization, in the real and poetic world, and the author thus explores the possibilities of different beings, which is an important topic of contemporary poetry.
